About the Event

In this talk, Ruth will discuss the ways that the aims of Effective Altruists who are focused on near-term social impact can be met only with a diverse set of actions beyond the implementation of specific interventions. She will also share how IDinsight, as a research and evaluation organization, systematically measures its own contributions to social impact.

𝐑𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 is CEO of IDinsight, a global nonprofit providing data analytics, research, evaluation, monitoring, and other services to amplify social impact of government agencies, NGOs, multilateral agencies, and philanthropies. She is a development economist with more than three decades of experience working on the design and implementation of policies and programs related to global health and education, social protection, gender equality, and labor markets.
